Terms and conditions 
  • During the semester, international graduate students who have gained approval may work part-time
    for a maximum of 16 hours a week.

  • Students must not miss lectures, tutorials or laboratory sessions to work.

  • The Letter of Endorsement is subject to:
    • the validity of the Student's Pass
    • the student being employed for the job he originally applied for

  • The Letter of Endorsement will be revoked if the student is found to be:
    • working in disreputable establishments
    • involved in activities detrimental to the interests of Singapore
    • working more than 16 hours per week during the semester
    • not meeting required academic standards

  • The Letter of Endorsement automatically expires and must be surrendered to ISC within two weeks of the student:
    • ceasing to be a student of the University
    • ceasing work
    • changing employment

  • A fresh application is necessary whenever there is a change of employment.
