How to apply to work part-time (international graduate students)
Terms and conditions
During the semester, international graduate students who have gained approval may work part-time
for a maximum of 16 hours a week.
Students must not miss lectures, tutorials or laboratory sessions to work.
The Letter of Endorsement is subject to:
the validity of the Student's Pass
the student being employed for the job he originally applied for
The Letter of Endorsement will be revoked if the student is found to be:
working in disreputable establishments
involved in activities detrimental to the interests of Singapore
working more than 16 hours per week during the semester
not meeting required academic standards
The Letter of Endorsement automatically expires and must be surrendered to ISC within two weeks of the student:
ceasing to be a student of the University
ceasing work
changing employment
A fresh application is necessary whenever there is a change of employment.
