What to pack
- a valid passport and any other necessary travel document
- air, train or bus ticket
- the original letter of offer of admission from NTU
- educational certificates, examination results slips and other documents submitted in support of your application for admission (for verification and reference during registration)
- cash of at least $2,000 (in small denominations) for initial expenses, excluding tuition fees and housing
- funds to place a deposit and pay housing rental upon arrival
- prescribed medicine and a letter from your doctor explaining what they are
- personal items such as toiletries, a bath towel, bed sheets, pillow cases, an alarm clock, a three-pin plug, utensils (e.g., fork, spoon, plate, etc)
- some recent passport-sized photographs
These must:
- - be taken within the last three months
- - be taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
- - show the full face and be taken without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial
customs is acceptable but must not hide facial features)
- clothes and footwear (while Singapore is hot and humid, lecture theatres may be cold)
- formal wear and your national costume for formal occasions or special events
- sports equipment
- laptop if you are not purchasing one in Singapore (click here for the website of the pc shop on campus)
