Via MRT (Singapore’s subway system)
From Changi Airport take the MRT train on the East-West line to Boon Lay station (the last station)
Take bus no. 179 or 199 from Boon Lay bus interchange (next to Boon Lay MRT station) to campus
The total journey will take around two hours and cost around $3 (catch a taxi to campus if you arrive after midnight as MRT trains and public buses do not operate after midnight) |

Via taxi
Take a taxi from Changi Airport and inform the driver to take you to NTU using the Pan-Island Expressway or PIE (say “P-I-E” and not “pie”)
Ask the driver to take Exit 36 of the expressway into Jalan Bahar The journey will take about an hour and cost about $40. Surcharges apply during peak periods and after midnight. All taxis in Singapore have a fare meter |

- you can make free local calls using the telephones at the airport terminals (before luggage collection)

Arriving by train
If arriving by train from Malaysia, please take bus no. 30 opposite the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to Boon Lay bus interchange where bus no. 179 or 199 will take you to NTU. Alternatively, take a taxi from across the station direct to NTU using the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Ask the driver to take Exit 36 into Jalan Bahar. Note that MRT trains and public buses do not operate from midnight to 6am.
Arriving by bus
If arriving by bus from Malaysia, please take an MRT train from the nearest station to Boon Lay MRT station, the last station on the East-West line. If you are arriving by bus at Golden Mile Complex at Beach Road, you can take either bus no. 100 or 961 opposite the Golden Mile Complex to Eng Cheong Tower at Crawford Street where you can walk to Lavendar MRT station. There, you can board a train on the East-West line to Boon Lay MRT station. From Boon Lay MRT station, take bus no. 179 or 199 from Boon Lay bus interchange (beside the Boon Lay MRT station) to campus. Alternatively, take a taxi direct to NTU using the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Ask the driver to take Exit 36 into Jalan Bahar. Note that MRT trains and buses do not operate from midnight to 6am.

Arrival before 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) Please check-in at ISC.
Arrival after 4pm Monday to Friday, and during weekends and public holidays ISC will arrange for a student buddy to hand you your room keys at your allocated housing if you have informed ISC of your arrival details two weeks before departure using the online link provided.
Exchange students should provide their details at the Exchange portal. Please visit ISC to complete your check-in and attend to registration matters the next working day. |
