Getting the most out of your NTU experience
Get involved! Join a student club or society,  attend ISC activities such as coffee sessions and lunch gatherings, hang out with your hall mates and more.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year, Christmas, Deepavali and Hari Raya with Singaporeans.

Keep in regular touch with your family and friends back home. Their support will help you adjust to your new life in Singapore.

Feeling a little homesick is part and parcel of adjusting to a new environment. If you feel down, please speak with a hall fellow, a counsellor or contact ISC.

Take care of yourself. Have sufficient rest and exercise.

Plan your finances well. Undergraduates may contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, and graduate students, the Graduate Studies Office, should they have questions on financial assistance.

Speak to your academic counsellor, lecturer or tutor when you have difficulties understanding the academic system or the course content.

Familiarise yourself with the academic calendar so you will be able to manage your time and studies well.

NTU attracts talented students from around the world. University life will be challenging but it can also be rewarding.

Take time out when you need a break. Experience Singapore and all that it offers. There’s much to see and enjoy!
